Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect when I visit?

We start at 10:30am, and it’s usually helpful to arrive a few minutes early, particularly if you have kids so you can sign them in to kids church and help them to settle, and we will ask you to fill in a few basic details about your children so that we know about important things such as allergies and SEND needs. If you don’t have children you can head straight into the main hall where you’ll be greeted and you can find a seat. During the service you’ll experience lively sung worship with a band and words up on a screen, and a (hopefully) timely and relevant talk based in the Bible. The service usually ends around 12pm with prayer and a moment to think about how it all fits with your life. Afterwards we all hang around for tea and coffee and a good catch-up, so definitely plan to stay for a bit! We wrap up and start packing away at about 12:30pm.

I’m not a Christian, can I come?

Yes, absolutely. Everyone is welcome, to visit or to stay. We hope that you’ll find something of real value, regardless of your personal beliefs or the life you find yourself living. Jesus promised that He came to give us life, and life in abundance, and all are welcome to experience this with us.

Will I find friends here?

EN Huntingdon is a very friendly bunch and love meeting new people, so if you’re looking for friends, you have come to the right place! The Whatsapp group chat is lively and full of banter, and if meeting up with people is your thing you’ll quickly get roped into lift shares, picnics, and all sorts! Chat to someone on Sunday to find out how you can get more connected.

Will my children be safe?

Safety for our children is of paramount importance to us. Our kids workers are trained in safeguarding, we have qualified first aiders on the premises every week, and we invest in ongoing equipping for everyone involved with children regularly to make sure we offer the highest standard we can. If you have any concerns the first port of call is to talk to our Kids Leader, Amber. We have a robust safeguarding policy, safeguarding coordinators onsite and external safeguarding leads who will also be happy to chat with you.
